Punch Options   -  Prices in (parenthesis) if extra hardware is required

QuickPunch.exe -  Included with PC Timeclock.  A much smaller "Front End", for Employee punching only.  Reccomended for use only on older systems with limited memory resources.  "Manager" button closes Quick-Punch, and opens full version "PC Timeclock.exe" for editing, etc.

Keyboard - KB
Most businesses use existing Keyboards to "Punch" PC Timeclock.  Employees simply "Punch" at their Workstations, or at a computer located near an entrance.  NO additional charges for multiple installations on the same Local or Wide area Network

Barcode Readers - BC  ($170 and up)   Used for security reasons, or to make it easier for Employees to change Activities.  PC Timeclock prints Barcodes on Employee Badges, complete with Employee pictures.  Laminate for durability.  Requires a Barcode Reader.

Magnetic Strip Readers - MS  ($170 and up)   These may also be considered for security reasons, however they require the additional cost and hassel of making, or buying, and programming the magnetic cards.  Employees invariably loose or forget cards...

FingerPrint Readers - FP  ($120 Stand-Alone,  $160 w/Keyboard)  Our most popular Add-On:
1)  Cheaper than Barcode and Magnetic Strip Readers.
2)  Much more reliable, not affected by dust or swipe speed.
3)  They eliminate the hassel of maintaining cards.
4)  NO maintenance.  They don't wear out.
5)  Prevents "Buddy Punching", when one Employee punches for another.
6)  NO Lost or forgotten Cards.
7)  Can also secure computer access or documents, eliminating Passwords.

Uses latest Fingerprint Algorithms from "Digital Persona" to verify Employee punches.  Criminal Employees need not worry; it stores vectors, not actual FingerPrints.  The "Stand-Alone" sensor is about 1.5" square, 1/2" high, and plugs into any USB port.  We also have Keyboards with built-in FingerPrint Sensors.  When a valid punch has occured with FingerPrint verification, an "FP" is logged as the "Punch Method", so managers KNOW the Employee punched themselves.

Punch Method:  The method used for punching is recorded on Timecards and Daysheets; KB, BC, MS, FP, or PH, as noted above.  The Workstation "Name" is also recorded with each punch, so managers know which method, and which computer, the Employee was using when they punched.  Barcode, MagStrip, and FingerPrint Readers attach to your PC using either "Keyboard Y's" or the USB port.

Punch

Above is PC Timeclock's main screen, used for Employee Punching, and Manager Access.
Employees Enter their "Punch Code", and may select an Activity, if other than default.

punchnote_85.gif
When a valid "Punch Code" is entered, the day's Punch Information appears.
The screen shows Total Hrs worked today, and optionally, total hrs this Payperiod.

If a "PunchNote" has been left for the Employee or Activity,
the Employee can't "Punch" until the Note is "Acknowledged".
PunchNotes can be for a single Employee, a particular Activity, or Everyone.
There is no easier way to "Get the Word Out".
